Stories of Civil War nurses and soldiers, a cat named Elvis, the C&O Canal boat captains and the German settlers of the area. Many stories are the experiences of the founder.

About Us

Ghost tour company in Shepherdstown, WV, Sharpsburg, MD and Rock Hall, MD. Small Town Ghost Tours was founded in 2008 by Meredith Moore when Sharpsburg Ghost Tours debuted in September of 2008. Small Town Ghost Tours is the original ghost tour company for Sharpsburg 2008, Shepherdstown 2013 and Rock Hall 2020. The founder has had many paranormal experiences in and around Sharpsburg, Maryland ever since she attended Shepherd College in the 1980s. Each Small Town Ghost Tour encourages history buffs, ghost hunters and psychic mediums to book a public tour or a private tour.


Learn the rich history of each charming town while strolling through their streets and alleys, and hearing true ghost stories along the way. Occasionally a spirit will be witnessed! Each tour ends at a local establishment to enjoy refreshments and spirits to honor the spirits of each town.
